Johnnie Walker Release New Blue Label Edition
Johnnie Walker Blue Label is one of the best blended Scotch whiskies on the market. Now the whisky giants have released a limited edition Blue Label collection designed by Alfred Dunhill. In connection with this, they have also released a short film, Celebrating a Journey Shared to promote it.
John Walker and Alfred Dunhill were never contemporaries, so the film represents what ‘could have happened’ if they had have been. The film shows from the journey from London to the Scottish Highlands made by craftsman Chris Tipper and explorer Jason Lewis.
Representatives from Diageo, who own Johnnie Walker said they have brought together two purveyors of British luxury in this limited edition collection. It’s to celebrate the shared values and pioneering heritage of quality craftsmanship that both of the brands have.
James Thompson said: “This film, with cues of luxury and masculine sophistication is our visual expression of this partnership and this collection.”
The Johnnie Walker Blue Label Collection
The Johnnie Walker Blue Label collection designed by Alfred Dunhill contains a limited edition bottle of blue label allong with a and collector’s trunk. Inside there is a map and the box is leather bound.
This is not the first time that Johnnie Walker have teamed up with a major company. We already reported on them teaming up with Porsche to create special limited edition gift packs.
